Candadian
rapper Drake brings his own brand of music to the UK with a
seven-city tour planned for next year

Award-winning, multi platinum-selling recording
artist Drake is returning to the UK next year for a series of seven
arena shows.
Tickets have just been released for the tour, in March
2014, which will include a performance at Echo Arena in
Liverpool on Saturday, March 22, with support from special
guest The Weeknd.
Drake’s new album, Nothing was the Same, one of the most
critically acclaimed and feverishly anticipated new albums
of the year, debuted at number one on the US Billboard Top
200 Album Chart and entered the UK album chart at number
two.
The album has already been certified Platinum in the US and
also features Drake’s brand new single Too Much, due to be
released on December 9.
Debuting to widespread acclaim from music writers and
critics, Nothing Was the Same received a four-star review
in Rolling Stone wrote and the New York Times declared:
“Drake is on top now, the genre’s stylistic standard-bearer
and its most reliable and versatile hit maker…”
Drake has
enjoyed a landmark 2013, winning his first-ever Grammy
Award in the category of Best Rap Album for his critically
revered platinum album Take Care, and has remained a
distinctive presence across both hip-hop and
popular culture.
Following their collaboration on the track Live For, fellow
Canadian The Weeknd will be joining Drake as a special
guest on all UK dates.
