Buckle up because the fast ride and dangerous stunts are back with Fast and Furious 6.

Before viewing Fast and Furious 6, I decided to refresh my memory and watched FF 1, 2 and 3 again. I did not get to watch part four but I have seen part five. Since I just recently watched the first three the details of the series were fresh in my head. For those who can’t remember the series or haven’t seen it I strongly suggest you start by catching up on the series now (it makes 6 that much better if you see all five movies.)

As for the movie, I can only say wow. When the action starts it becomes an event on its own. If you are a fan of FF or a junkie for action flicks then you know what to expect. Every movie has its car chase scenes but here the vehicles are the co-stars. And the man who knows how to drive these vehicles is Dominic Toretto played by Vin Diesel.

Now to the story Luke Hobbs played by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson needs help taking down a major international criminal named Owen Shaw. Nobody knows how Shaw looks but Hobbs know he has been pulling off his crimes with the help of racecar drivers. So he decides to recruit some of the world’s best drivers to take down this dangerous criminal, and that’s where the Fast and Furious crew comes in. With an offer they can’t refuse the gang is back together, and here we go with FF 6.

This movie should definitely fill seats this hot summer with male viewers but if you think this is only a testosterone driven movie you’re wrong. The female leads Letty Ortiz played by Michelle Rodriguez, Mia Toretto played by Jordana Brewster, Gisele played by Gal Gabot and Riley played by Gina Carano get their chances to race, fight and shoot up the place just as much as their male counterparts. Vin Diesel and the Rock are the tough guys here while Ludacris and Tyrese give the movie some comedy, and a little bit of spice. Sung Kang who plays Hun is his usual cool self. The move has a lot of personalities but missing is Tego Calderon and Don Omar who were both in four and five. All six films have a different feel even though Justin Lin directed the last three. This series has a formula that will continue to fill movie theaters. The highway scene gives the audience high filled drama and intense action, which is only topped by the ending scene. Good movie can’t wait for the next installment. Stay to the credits for a sneak preview
